Challenge

Many people struggle with abrupt and unnatural morning wake-ups, often leading to fatigue and disorientation. Waking up to the same sound every day can cause our brain to become accustomed to the melody, reducing its effectiveness. To address this, the app provides a solution by automatically changing alarm sounds or songs daily, ensuring each morning brings a refreshing surprise.

Solution

While developing this app, we conducted an in-depth analysis of competing alarm clock applications to understand user expectations and best practices. We examined key aspects such as user profiles, available features, interactive elements, and the strengths and weaknesses of existing apps. This research served as the foundation for the app's final features, setting it apart from other solutions. The alarm clock app prototype offers a variety of ready-made playlists, personalized AI-generated music, and the option to upload custom sounds or songs from sources like SoundCloud. Each morning, a different track is randomly selected, eliminating monotony and creating a more varied and pleasant wake-up experience. The app was built using NX Components, facilitating rapid development through integrated modules, ensuring a modern design and optimal functionality. Users can easily set alarms and tailor them to their preferences without any complicated steps.
